Baldwin has been simply abuzz the last few days with the news. What news you ask? Well, CNN's Money magazine created a list of the Top 100 Places to Live in the United States. And with this published list, somehow Baldwin, NY ranks #25. #25!!! Out of all the places in the country (and you and I can think of alot of towns and places out there), Baldwin somehow made the Top 100, and top 25% to boot.
Ok, I swear I'm not gushing this intensely to sound snobbish or strange. It's more about the surprise and happiness about it. We just purchased a home that CNN calls one of the best places in the country to live.

Wow, this is such a weird coincidence.. last night we picked up a piece of furniture from a guy who knew we lived in Nanuet NY. He told us it had just been named one of the top 100 places to live by the NYtimes. It seemed so unlikely that we went to the NYT website and couldn't find the article, so assumed he was mistaken.
Today I read your post and click the link and next to Baldwin at #25 is Nanuet at #24!!
So thanks for helping me find the elusive article.. and hopefully there's no hard feelings that our town beat yours ;-)

Nanuet isn't technically my hometown, but I grew up only two towns over and hung out at the Nanuet Diner as a teenager. Its weird to have settled there after being away for so many years..
But anyway, I think its super cool that both our towns made the top 25 list!
